Talk at The National Willa Cather Center
I’ll be giving a reading and discussing Deer Season at the Cather Center on February 24, 8:00p est on zoom in a talk with the Rachel Olsen, the Education Coordinator. This event will be part of Crossroads: Change in Rural America, a Smithsonian Museums on Main Street exhibition. As someone who spent a decade of her life in Nebraska, I can’t tell you how pleased I am about this! Cather was a looming, large presence in my graduate program, and after reading Ladette Randolph‘s forthcoming novel Private Way, I was reminded again how much I love Cather’s work (she’s central to Randolph’s book).
