Deer Season wins an Edgar!

In what ended up one of the most wonderful, surreal nights of my life, Deer Season took home the Edgar for Best First Novel by an American Author!! Everything about the night was just magical, including meeting fellow nominees who are all so crazy talented. I turned to my husband right before it our category was announced and said, “I’ve had a great night.” No matter what happened, I wanted to remember that. Then holy hell, it got even better.
